Sony Ericsson is going fine in his Smartphone business, but now Sony Ericsson has just announced that they have no plans now to develop any further Symbian Smartphones. This is what told to BusinessWeek by Aldo Liguori – the spokesperson of Sony Ericsson;
“We have no plans for the time being to develop any new products to the Symbian Foundation standard or operating system.”
Well this is not just a simple decision but it will no doubt broke the ambitions of Nokia, that was to recapture the very much needed mindshare for the Symbian platform they were developing, but it is continuously losing position to the bigger Nokia’s Rivals as BlackBerry, Apple and Google.

You all must have known the fact that Sony Ericsson was the member of Symbian Foundation for a long time, but I guess now it is doing its own struggle in keeping its Smartphones up to the standard as the iPhone.
Now with the Google started a new Operating System Android, it make Sony Ericsson to think and to reroute all its resources to develop its own Android Based Smartphone, that will make them able to remain on the line with other competitors like HTC, Motorola and Samsung.
Now Nokia has also announced it three new Smartphones, which are E7, C6 and C7, and which were displayed at Nokia World Expo. These three sets are running the new Symbian^3 OS. However with few problems within inside this announcement is somewhat undermined by the fact of resignations of few top-level executives, which left behind the Nokia concern about the company’s internal stability.
