Apple in its Press Release stated that all the existing customer of Verizon were able to pre-order iPhone 4 sometime today from Apple or Verizon website. All the customers who will pre-order the iPhone 4 can pick up the iPhone 4 by themselves or it will be delivered by 10th February (you can say within 10 days).
“Beginning on Wednesday, February 9, all qualified customers will be able to order an iPhone 4 on Verizon through the Apple Store (www.apple.com) for delivery or reserve for in-store pick up beginning February 10.
Beginning at 7 a.m. local time on Thursday, February 10, iPhone 4 on Verizon will be available to all qualified customers at Apple’s retail stores. iPhone 4 will also be available at more than 2,000 Verizon Wireless Communication Stores nationwide.”
Now basically whoever wants a Verizon iPhone 4 should able to get one by 11th February.
This is pretty interesting, I mean all these dates. Well I think here, that Verizon want to extend the date for the pre-orders and as well as the orders on several days. Here Verizon is making sure that their system doesn’t crash, as it happen with AT&T in the past. Here think is if everything goes well for Verizon, we will be hearing for them about how well they have managed their pre-orders as compare to AT&T.
As for Verizon I don’t think there will be millions of people grabbing the iPhone 4 opportunity at first place, So, I don’t think Verizon will be having any sort of issue taking up the pre-orders.
